Our Story

Welcome to Bright Beginnings Childcare Brant, a home daycare located in Brantford, Ontario. My name is Ashley Lesyk and I have a diploma in ECE. I am born and raised in Brantford. I met my husband and moved up to the tri-city area for about 4 years. We got married in 2019 and moved back to Brantford in 2020. We have a dog Copper who is a cane corso, German shepard mix who loves all toys and swimming. We also have a 4 year old son named Liam and a 7 month old daughter named Georgia. I have worked in and out of different childcare facilities for about 10 years therefore I have gained a lot of knowledge with different philosophies of how children learn and grow best. I am the owner and operator of Bright Beginnings and carry a passion for creativity and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. I offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. My goal is to set every child up for success by promoting their competence and capabilities. In addition to the childcare services, I also offer homemade sensory kits and a weekly blog covering various topics related to childcare, expectations, and promoting children's growth.

The Program
At Bright Beginnings Childcare Brant, I provide a play-based learning program that fosters curiosity, creativity, and socialization. I believe that children learn best when they are engaged and having fun. The program is designed to stimulate all areas of development, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social. I encourage children to explore their interests and express themselves through a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive.

Field Trips
I love to take the children on field trips to explore the world around us. These trips are carefully planned to provide age-appropriate experiences that enhance the program and promote learning. Some of our favorite destinations include local farms, museums, and parks. Field trips are a great way for children to learn about new things, build confidence, and develop social skills. We always prioritize safety and ensure that each child is supervised and accounted for at all times.
